Perfformiwyd ‘Closer than Ever’ am y tro cyntaf ym Massachusetts yn 1989, ac ers hynny mae wedi diddanu cynulleidfaoedd ar draws y byd. Wedi pedair mlynedd ar hugain mae’r caneuon mor berthnasol a difyr ag erioed, caneuon sydd yn trafod pynciau amrywiol, gan gynnwys cariad unochrog, cadw’n heini ac argyfwng canol-oed.
Sefydlwyd Da Capo yn 2009 gan Cefin a Rhian Roberts, ar gyfer cyfres lwyddiannus Ysgol Glanaethwy i S4C. Wedi’r gyfres penderfynodd y gr?p barhau i berfformio gan wahodd perfformwyr ifanc eraill sydd yn rhannu’r un brwdfrydedd i berfformio nosweithiau dwy-ieithog sy’n ddwy awr o adloniant hwyliog. ‘Closer than Ever’ was performed for the first time in Massachusetts in 1989, and since then has entertained audiences around the world. After twenty four years the songs are as relevant and engaging as ever, the songs will discuss various topics, including unrequited love, exercise and a middle-age crisis.
Da Capo, established in 2009 by Cefin and Rhian Roberts, Ysgol Glanaethwy for a successful series for S4C. After the series the group decided to continue to perform and invited other young performers who share the same passion to perform bilingual nights for a two hours of entertainment fun.
